I’ve been working with Chris for the past three years and have improved tremendously over that period becoming much stronger with better fitness each year. I can hang on the fast group rides now and have had some success competing in the masters cycling races which are very competitive. My work schedule is very demanding requiring lots of travel each week. Chris has managed that very well and adjusts my workouts to fit my schedule wherever it may be. I highly recommend his services. Besides being a great coach, he’s also a great person with very good people skills which makes working with him highly enjoyable.”

I turned to Chris Mileski and Off the Front for individualized, specific training for my once in a lifetime event and received not only superb coaching, but personal support throughout my year-long training period. As with any long-term undertaking, there will be aches, pains, and personal challenges along the way. Chris and his staff supported me throughout my training regime and became my virtual training partners for every lap swam, hill conquered, and mile ran. When I heard these words, I heard them knowing I was perfectly prepared and had performed at the extreme edge of my abilities thanks in large part to Chris and Off the Front, “Dean Meyer, you, are an Ironman!”

What sets Chris apart from other coaches I have used is his knowledge of physiology and the effects of exercise on the body. Chris knows when to push and when to back off: without this knowledge, the athlete cannot reach full potential in the former case and indeed overtrain leading to possible injury in the latter.”

I’ve been working with Chris for about 4 years now. I had been doing one sprint triathlon per year for about 4 years when I started and my goal was to simply maintain my times. I didn’t want to get slower as I got older. Since working with Chris, I not only improved my times I also have completed four Half Marathons and one Half Ironman!! I never thought I could do that!! I’ll be turning 45 in a few short weeks and I am in the best shape of my life thanks to Chris!”

Simply put, athletes who train with Chris Mileski and Off the Front race faster, ride harder, and go farther. When racers tell me that they need the best racing equipment, I tell them not to waste their money and give Chris a call. He’ll get you in the BEST shape of your life.”

I first met Chris when I was 18 years old, about a month before I began playing soccer at Tulane University. The following year I was fortunate enough to train with him the entire summer. I grew up in many ways that summer and made breakthroughs mentally and physically that I had not foreseen. It didn’t matter how many other athletes were on the track, I always felt like Chris was focused on me. Chris does not treat any of his athletes the same. He has the gift of being able to connect with each athlete in a unique and powerful way. I know that I was able to achieve my goals because of his passion, knowledge, and genuine dedication to my success. When soccer ended, a piece of my life that had always defined me was no longer present. I once again turned to Chris for help. He opened my eyes to new possibilities – a way to be a competitor and athlete even after the memorable college years had passed. Presently, I am training for my first triathlon. Through each challenging workout, I again feel an inner strength and confidence that always seems to develop when Chris is in the picture. I will always be grateful. Thanks Chris for all that you have taught me!”

For my 2009 season, I was determined to achieve my goal of racing my single speed mountain bike in various endurance events and come out on top against the geared bikes since there are few single speed events for women. I knew that I was going to need the help from a coach and there was only one person who could help me which these endurance events and make me faster-Chris Mileski with Off the Front Coaching.
My 2009 racing season proved to be successful. I believe the credit goes to Chris. As a coach, he was able to provide me with weekly schedules that were individualized to me and the type of races I was preparing for. Without a doubt, he was able to improve my speed and endurance. I felt he knew exactly when I needed to peak, taper, and recover to make me successful from race to race. He was also always available to talk if needed to discuss workouts, races, or just about anything one might be going through during racing season. He was always supportive and enjoys discussing post race results and thoughts.
I competed in over 17 mountain bike races this year and Chris helped me achieve the following on my single speed: 1st Midwest Fat Tire Series women’s marathon class, 1st Binder Lake 6hr solo, 2nd Dino 24 hour solo, 1st Rapture in Misery 12 hour solo, 1st Berryman Duathlon 12 hour solo, 1st Berryman Epic 50 mile solo single speed/4th overall women, 1st Missouri State Championships, and 6th US Cycling National Championships/Cat 2. Thanks Chris!”
